Look at these two! I image them as teenagers who met one day out in the bush and developed a life-long friendship.
Were they sharing the gossip of the day? Were they filling each other in on how they had each spent the last few hours? Was the bird telling the giraffe about something amazing it had seen on the other side of the river? Was the giraffe asking the bird to find out if the lady giraffe he had just seen was interested in him? Was the bird asking the giraffe how its family was? Was the bird just tired of flying all day and wanted to land on something that wasn't a tree overtaken by monkeys?
Animals have curiosity, too...and feelings, and inquisitiveness, and friendships, and memories. Don't forget that when you see an animal on safari (or even when you see a pet). But when you see wild animals in their natural habitat, you're reminded of how similar to us all the living creatures on this planet are.
