I must admit, the one day I visited Lake Como was the only day it rained during a three-week vacation in Italy. It only rained in the afternoon, but it was a severe thunderstorm and we were on the boat ride back from Bellagio.
But that didn't dampen (pun maybe intended) the day or our love for what we were seeing. We passed dozens and dozens of mansions, some of which we knew were owned by the world's most top celebrities, and others owned by people whose wealth we couldn't possibly imagine.
One particular mansion caught my eye towards the end of the day. I knew I recognized it and had seen it before, but where? Was it a celebrity's house I had seen on a Hollywood entertainment television program? Was it from a movie? And then it hit me.
The mansion in front of me (in the photograph) was indeed in a movie I recognized, and most likely had been in countless other movies. But I recognized it as the house where (SPOILER ALERT) Anakin Skywalker (the future Darth Vader) marries Queen Amidala (the future mother of Luke and Leia) at the end of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
